THE PROGRAM’S COMBINED EFFORTS

Certified Onions, Inc. works closely with the Oregon Department of Agriculture and industry experts. As part of the program, the Oregon Department of Agriculture provides official governmental sampling. The samples are then sent to Idaho Food Quality Assurance Laboratory for testing of onion bulbs. The Idaho Food Quality Assurance Laboratory has state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained staff to test for both pesticide residues and undesirable pathogens.
